About

Love Beyond Words has been an idea of mine for quite some time. My inspiration for this blog? Well, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love to talk about love, relationships, situationships, and all that comes in between? These experiences have no boundaries; it’s territory chartered by everyone regardless of age, race, sex, gender, whether you like watching sitcoms like Insecure or prefer the reality shows such as the Love and Hip Hop franchise. When we get into relationships, we tend to go in not knowing what the hell we’re doing and in the rare cases that we do, there are things and situations that arise and causes the relationship to come to a halt. Not to mention, we all like to hear about other couples’ relationships be it the successes or the failures. Personally, I like hearing about the problems a successful couple has overcome and the ways they’ve overcome them. It gives me insight on how I can handle the obstacles that may arise in my relationship.

Many of my friends come to me with their relationship problems because I am unbiased; I can briefly step away from the friendship to analyze a situation from both sides and give them advice from a logical standpoint. Love really is blind. When we’re in relationships where our feelings are invested, it’s easy to think with our hearts and not our minds; our normal thought process goes out of the window to try and achieve the perfect fairy tale ending.

Love is an unexplainable feeling that is beyond the use of words. When
a loving relationship goes right, it can make you feel like you’re on
cloud nine; but when things are not going so well, love has the potential to emotionally drain you and make you feel low. Ideally, everyone has their own idea and concept on how to make a relationship work. There isn’t a specific blueprint or guideline. You do what works for you and your individual relationship. So, with that being said, you can expect to read my take on general relationship issues, relationship advice, and the answers to specific questions any of my readers may ask of me. By no means am I an expert, but a second opinion from a third party ain’t ever hurt anybody!

I look forward to going on this love journey with you guys!

Love,

Tej Monique
